DU Admissions 2014: Popular Courses at the St. Stephens College

St. Stephen's College, one of the premier institutions of the Delhi University, is drawing a lot of applications for its Economics and English programmes. The college, being a minority institution has its own admission process. It conducts interviews as well after declaring the cut off lists.

As per the recent reports, 2,495 applications were received for the Economics course while the English course received 2,483 applications till 1 pm on 10th June, 2014. Not only this, it has received 9,923 applications for its various other courses.

The college has total 410 seats to offer, out of which 100 seats are for the Economics course and 60 seats for the English course.  The institution provides 40 per cent reservation to the Christian students. Seats for the SC/ST category are also reserved.

The other courses provided by the college are Honours UG programs in History, Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, Philosophy and Mathematics. The applications can be made only in the on line mode and the last date to apply is 16th June, 2014.
