About DRDO CEPTAM:
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) works under Department of Defence Research and Development of Ministry of Defence. DRDO is responsible for enhancing Defence system of the nation and develop new techniques and designs to produce world class competent weapon systems and equipment.
The organization works in various areas of technology required in military which includes aeronautics, armaments, combat vehicles, electronics, instrumentation engineering systems, missiles, materials, naval systems, advanced computing, simulation and life sciences.
Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) is a unit of DRDO which conducts all India examination to recruit personnel for various posts. The examination for recruitment to DRDO 2012 will be conducted on 5th August 2012 for which, the admit cards have been sent to eligible candidates.
DRDO CEPTAM Examination Schedule:
The examination for recruitment to DRDO will be held in two shifts. The schedule has been mentioned below:
Shift-I (Reporting Time: 9.30 Hrs) – Exam Time: 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM for following posts
- STA ‘B’ (0102-0123)
- Assistant Hindi (0301)
- Store Assistant “A’ (0401-0402)
Shift-II (Reporting Time: 2.00 PM) – Exam Time: 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM for following posts
- Technical ‘A’ (0202-0232)
- Admin Assistant (0501-0802)
- Civilian Driver “A” (0601)
- Security Assistant (0701)
- Fire Engine Driver (0801)
- Fireman (0901)
DRDO Examination Pattern for CEPTAM 5, 2012:
The examination consists of four different test papers for different posts. The written test consists of 150 / 100 Multiple Choice Questions for different posts based on different subjects. The details are explained in the table below:
