Loksewa Shikshan Bahuuddeshiya Mandal’s Padmashree Dr. V.B. Kolte College of Engineering, Malkapur organized a parent-teacher meet where the Director of the college, Dr. A.W. Kharche addressed the gathering with a vision to encourage students to take up courses in technical education in order to take a step towards the country’s scientific progress.

The meet was organized for the new batch of students and their parents. Dignitaries from the trust including Hon. Sudhir Pachpande, Prof. Ajitabh Pitariya, Prof. Sandip Khachne, Prof. Ramakant Chowdhary and Prof. Mahesh Shastri were also present.

The ceremonial lamp was lit along with garlanding the portrait of Goddess Saraswati to commence the programme.

In his address, Prof. Sudhir Pachpande said that such meets provide a platform for the interaction of the parents and faculty members to be in touch with the progress of their child and happenings at the college. He also enforced the fact that it is the responsibility of the teachers to mould the students in such a way that they become capable enough to mark their presence in the society.

The event proved to be insightful for all.
