Once again Delhi University has proved its excellence. Leaving behind the Institutes of Technology, it has been ranking as the best Global University in India. In a recent survey the U.S. News & World Report’s first-ever global ranking of universities, voted for DU as best Global University in India.
Ranked as 45th in the ‘Best Global Universities of Asia,‘ University of Delhi has managed to come at number 316 in the overall ‘Best Global Universities’ list ahead of any other Indian Institutes.
After DU it is Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore scoring 46th Rank in Asia and 323 in Global Rankings followed by Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay at 65 in Asia and 405 in Global Rankings. The list also included Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur at number 86 in Asia and number 484 in Global Rankings.
This evaluation was done on the basis of their academic research performance and their global and regional reputations. 500mUniversities from 49 countries were included with Harvard University topping the Global Rankings and University of Tokyo, Japan topping the Asia Rankings.
