Delhi University has introduced a series of measures this year to be able to become transparent and error free. The varsity has issued fresh guidelines for the three and four year undergraduate to address any discrepancy in the results of the student. As per the new guidelines, the students shall now approach their respective colleges directly instead of approaching the university. The colleges will take a note of the grievance and try to make corrections, if required, at the college level first. These complaints would have to be forwarded to the ‘officer on special duty’, examination.
Grievances related to the three-year undergraduate program will have to be forwarded to the (DCE) South Campus for South Campus colleges and to the officer on special duty, North Campus for the North Campus colleges. But any discrepancy in the four-year program has to be forwarded to the North Campus only.
For example, if any discrepancy is found in the internal marks, then the student needs to approach his college and discuss the matter with the college authorities. The principal of that college will have to forward the matter with a form for ‘request in change’ of the internal assessment marks.
