The students applying for a seat at the University of Delhi must provide the details of all the five subjects they studied in their class XII and they should write the correct marks in the optical mark recognition (OMR) form.
The University, this year, has said that a student wishing to study a subject that he did not study in his class XII would have to deduct 2% from his best of four subjects aggregate. Not only this, the students who studied Elective English in class XII would be given an increase of 2% in their best of four subjects aggregate.
The varsity has advised the students to fill the actual marks and give away the responsibility of making any correction to the colleges. The colleges would also calculate the best of four subjects aggregate out of the five subjects listed by the students in their forms.
The admission process is scheduled to begin on 2nd June 2014.
