It would come as a sweet relief to the students of Delhi University as they would no longer need to get affidavits or documents attested by Magistrate/Notary. Delhi University has decided to abolish the practice altogether and adopt self-certification.
The students would henceforth need to submit self-attested declarations wherever necessary in prescribed formats. The students would need to present any of the under mentioned documents in original as proof of identity at the time of submitting the self-attested documents.
