For PG programmes the marks secured at the Common Admission Test in the subject that qualifies the candidate for admission to the programme alone will be considered for preparing the Rank list. However, in the case of programmes where multi-disciplinary Tests are conducted, rank lists are drawn up on the basis of the Percentile Index determined by the formula, [(n-p)/n] * 100 where n is the number of candidates appearing for the Test in a particular subject and p is the position according to the CAT score. The Percentile Indices are then integrated to obtain the relative position of the candidate in the rank list for that particular programme.
