Curiouser and Curiouser!

As Alice says – Curiouser & Curiouser. Remember the moment when Alice finds herself almost submerged in the sea of tears crocodile tears; when she finds herself growing taller and shorter every few minutes and the Cheshire cat apparating and disapparating (HP definition of appearing and disappearing)  now and then. It was getting too confusing for anyone; being ordered by a rabbit and advised by a caterpillar not to forget the party she attended with the Mad Hatter, March Hare and the Dormouse. That's why Alice exclaimed, “Curiouser and curiouser!”

Ahem! I titled this teensy weensy piece as “Curiouser and curiouser!” I guess I must explain myself, eh? Since I have been confirmed of an admission in a college for English Honours, I have been quite bored. Not in the sense that I have nothing to while away my time, but seriously, I have been procrastinating! The list of pending tasks is shooting up to the sky; I am still yet to reappear from the drastic effect of admission blues.

I am curious to what my fellow Campus Journalists are up to – procrastinating, dilly dallying over some work or involved in some interesting hobby? Or something sinister?

So, after mixing a spoonful of investigated proof, a cauldron of sneak peeks insider information and a phial of imagination, I concoct the “Curiosity Potion”! Have a spoonful please and let’s wander into the lives of Campus Journalists, jotting down what they are up to after the admissions!

          After getting into the best arts college in the country for English Honours, this Campus Journalist has been trying to be well equipped before her college starts, from looking through the first year syllabus and buying some novels required. (Hard Times by Charles Dickens).

                This Campus Journalist has officially gone into a long hiatus after securing a seat in one of the top notch Engineering colleges. But he does pop in to chat, now and then; keeping us regularly informed about the outside world (We, 5 of us in DU, so any Engineering college is like Mars for us)

                 Officially the CJ group scribe, this CJ has been dishing out pretentious movie reviews. He has been trying to liven the situation, of late, by being mimicking some CJs’. Other than that, he has been quite chatty with everyone!

                 Officially the short hand expert amongst us, she has been posting in monosyllables in our unofficial whatasapp group and has been quite active there. She has her hands full; with shopping and other engagements!

                  From getting a college identity card (SWAG!) before any of us to clicking the most pictures (Mostly selfies) at any formal/informal meeting of CJs', she has been quite busy with preparing for college life.

That’s it, I guess? Nah, I forgot myself. So,

          The subtle and quiet (Read: Intelligent) of all 6, he has been procrastinating; re reading books throughout the day! (I re read the Harry Potter series today!). Though he is supposed to be writing, role playing and again writing, he has supposedly taken a short break!
