Cultural fest organised by Manikya Lal Verma Textile and Engineering College

The cultural festival, ''Udgam'' was held at Manikya Lal Verma Textile and Engineering College, Bhilwara, Rajasthan on April 17, 2015.

Events from all corners of life will held in the 3 day fest. Fashion parade, nukkad natak, dance, singing, choreo, once upon a time, are in the creativity list while events like model united nation, hindi jam, creative writing, picture perception, spell it are in the literary list and many other filler events like rangoli, photography, LAN gaming, movie making are also in schedule.

Students are totally in the color of the fest with T-Shirts being printed exclusively in the name of  Udgam. College affiliated to RTU Kota, had recently celebrated its Silver Jubilee in Nov. last year with a grand state level function with many big dignitaries as chief guests. Being the only textile college in the state, it has very good placement record and in GATE examination.

Recently, in the current session 85 students are placed in different companies at decent packages. Students have also performed excellent in GATE examination, with top rank being AIR 3th, other being 4th, 5th, 9th, 11th in textile branch. On all 10 students are in top 100 with overall 30 selections in only textile branch.

The institute is located at Bhilwara in Rajasthan.It is an autonomous engineering college of Government of Rajasthan. Manikya Lal Verma Textile and Engineering College started its B. E. course in Textile Technology in the year 1990. However, the college was set up in the year 1988. The institute is duly affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota & University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and recognised by AICTE, New Delhi.
