Cry for MBA original certificate from BPTU

All the students of Regional College of Management (RCM), Bhubneswar were pissed off on the management. This because of not getting the original certificates for MBA, students were on hunger strike from 3 days, started on February 11, 2014.

The strike was the only way left for the students now. They had also intimated the college authority previously for these problems that they are facing, but the management just says that they will see, but there was no sort of action. College Director Dr. Prabir Pal is just making the false commitment and ignoring the demands. Students are supposed to get their certificates from Biju Patnaik University of Technology which is their parent company and very reputed and well known University.

According to our source many ex MBA students are still away from getting original certificates after passing out and were given provisional certificate which is again valid for 1 year only. Now this seems a biggest threatening for all those who are placed in different companies and just used their provisional certificate at the time of interview. Thing is that if in case company will ask for their certificate, this provisional certificate will no more be presented in front of office management as it is already invalid and this leads to the panic situation among them. They might throw out of the company in fraud case or can be listed as black listed. Does the college author have any answer for this? They should at least think about their student’s career and avail them good facilities at college campuses.

College has left nothing for the students but to strike against the situation. Dr. Prabir Pal claimed in a reputed daily that only two previous batches did not get the certificates, which somehow shows the negligence of the college.

Even it again creates difficulties for those who are searching for jobs or applying for outside the city. “Nobody knows RCMA. Most recruiters are aware about BPTU and ask for varsity certificates” said Vivek Kumar, a student.

Let’s see how the college authority would manage all these to avoid this type of situation in future.
