Courses offered at JUIT receive Global Recognition

JUIT, Shimla courses have been approved by Washington Board and now these courses would be considered valid in nations like USA, UK, Canada, Taiwan, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and all other nations that are member of Washington Board.

This accreditation has been given on the basis of NBA Tier 1 recognition for university. On the contrary, interestingly this achievement is yet to be unlocked by top tier institutes likes NIT Hamirpur and IIT Mandi.  It is believed that the amount of efforts and diligence that the students of the University put in has been paid off opening new avenues for them in their future plans.

The University commenced academic activities from July 2002 and now offers courses such as B.Tech, M.Tech. and Ph.D. degree programs in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, and Civil Engineering, Applied and Computational Mathematics, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, Mathematics, Pharmacy etc.
