Administration
Post-Graduate Council constituted by the Vice Chancellor.
Eligibility
LL.M degree from an recognized university with a minimum grade of ‘B+’ or an aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent score.
Duration
- 1 academic year – to be completed within a maximum period of 3 years.
Note: Failure to complete within the given time will lead to cancellation of registration and the student will have to re-register for the course if interested, which he/ she has to complete within one year from the date of re-registration.

The student has to submit the application along with the research proposal in about 10 to 12 pages in the stipulated time.
The research proposal should have:
Title
- Statement of the problem & background information on the subject
- Set of research questions along with hypothesis and methodology
- A Research Design containing chapters
Selection Process
The candidates will be selected by the PG Council up on consideration of the report submitted by the panel on the presentation.
Course Work
- The students who take admission are required to attend the ‘Research Methodology’ and computer application classes conducted by the university to obtain a passing grade.
- The admitted student (or scholar) has to attain at least 50% marks in each paper
- Those who fail to secure 50% marks may be provided an opportunity to re-appear another time within 3 months of publication of results.
- The student (or scholar) will be allowed to continue further research work only after he/ she completes the course work.
Note: besides the above, the student is require to either offer a single credit course relating to their research work or assist the respective supervisor in teaching and evaluation in one of the Trimester.
Report Submission
Once in every six months, the student has to submit a report of progress and take in suggestions from the Supervisors and work upon them. The student has to make two presentations before submission of the final report.
