Applied science colleges are thought to be somewhat dull with zero, or minimum activity on  the extra-curricular front.

Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences (BCAS), however, defies the norm! “We try to provide holistic exposure to our students. From banking workshops to cultural initiatives, our students get to experience things beyond sciences,” says Dr Jai Prakash, principal BCAS. “It is also important for them to train in banking, finance and capital markets because they are not exposed to these disciplines at all in their academic life. So, we ensure that our students get to make the most of their time while they are here,” he adds.
