COLLEGE KA WOH PEHLA DIN...!

Now that the 1^st cutoff list is out,all class 12 students have a pretty clear picture about which college they want(and which college they can get).So I got talking with my seniors in school,who are now in college,about the most important thing on everyone’s minds-“COLLEGE KA FIRST DAY KAISA HOGA?!”.From what they all told me,I prepared a list.Hope you all get your preferred colleges!--

1. Be proud of yourself--YOU MADE IT TO COLLEGE! :D

2. No one’s watching you.No one will scold you,you can bunk as many classes as you want,sit in the canteen for all anyone cares :D .

3. In school,we all are bound to wear the same uniforms(B-O-R-I-N-G).In college,wear whatever you feel like wearing--even shorts,if you can pull off that look.No one cares about the project to be submitted the next day,more than what clothes they are going to wear.

4.Sucking up to the professors doesn’t work.If at all,it may even get you in their bad books.But a polite ‘good morning’ or ‘good afternoon’ is always welcome.

5. The first day is always special.All the other freshers like you are a little nervous and anxious.Try talking to some of them.Who knows,you might have a new friend at the end of the day J

6. Ragging happens.So don’t try to hide.Don’t worry-its not as serious as it used to be.At the most,the seniors will just ask you to tell a joke,dance on a funny song,or sing,or any other fun activity.Enjoy it!

7.Try to reach on time for all classes(atleast on the first day!).The 3-odd months you have wasted doing absolutely NOTHING—ab toh padhai kar lena!!
