CLAT 2022 application form submission date has been extended till April 5, 2022 for online mode only. Earlier the last date to fill the application form for CLAT 2022 was March 31, 2022. However, the last date to submit the applications offline is the same as before. CLAT  conducting authorities said the offline fee payment won’t be accepted and will result in rejection of application.

The application forms for CLAT 2022 were announced from January 1, 2022 by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala (RGNUL Patiala). The candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs. 4000 through offline (ICICI Bank Challan) or online mode. The online payments could be made through credit cards/debit cards/net banking.

CLAT 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on May 8, 2022 to grant admission to under graduate and post graduate law programmes at 17 National Law Universities across the country. The CLAT 2022 admit card can be downloaded from April 15, 2022 onwards.

CLAT is conducted for admitting successful candidates to the five-year integrated Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law (BA plus LLB) Honours and one year Master of Law (LL.M) programme.
