ITM University conducted two days workshop on April 21-22, 2014. Workshop was on the topic Stadd Pro.
- Programme under the certificate workshop included:
- Introduction to Structural Engineering
- Introduction to STAAD Pro and difference between previous and newer versions
- Concrete analysis and design of Beam, Column and Portal frames completely on STAAD
- Steel Analysis and Design of Pipe Racks and portal frames completely on STAAD
- Basics of bridge engineering
- Analysis of T girder bridges
- Analysis and design of Truss bridges
- Competition on bridge design
- An hour Session on Career options after civil Engineering Degree
At the end of this workshop, a problem statement was given to the participants. Top performers were awarded with Certificate of Merit and they will now compete with other participants across India in IIT in the month of May, 2014.
Winners in the final round at IIT will get the winners certificate and prize money.
