The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi has announced that admit cards for students taking the Class 10th and Class 12th board examination this year are available online.
Starting this year, the board won’t be sending a hard copy of the admit cards. Rather schools have to download the admit cards from CBSE’s official website and get them attested by the school principal before handing them over to the students.
As per a circular to all the institutions whose candidates are appearing for 2014 examinations, in order to achieve optimum accuracy and timely receipt of data pertaining to List of candidates (LOC) of Class X/XII of affiliated schools for 2014 Examination, CBSE has extended the facility of online submission of details for LOC.
The facility to download LOC shall be made available from 17th January 2014 and Admit cards from 27th January 2014 for Class XII.
However for Class X, the facility shall be made available from 22nd January 2014 and admit cards from 27th January 2014, the circular says.
CBSE will hold Class 10th board examination 2014 from 01st to 19th March 2014. Around 13 lakh candidates are taking the exam.
The Class 12th board examination 2014 will start from 01st March to 17th April 2014. A total of 9 lakh candidates will be sitting for the exam.
