CBSE CTET 2016: Important Instructions

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2022 organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to be held on February 21, 2022.  The board has issued certain instructions for the candidates who will appear for the exam and are required to strictly comply with the prescribed rules.

The instructions for CTET 2022 are listed below:

The examination hall/room will open 90 minutes before the exam commences. Candidates must take their respective seats soon after the examination hall/room is open. If the candidates do not report in time due to any reason, they are likely to miss some of the general instructions to be announced in the Examination Hall.

The candidate is required to present the CTET 2022 Admit Card downloaded from the official website to enter the exam hall. If the candidate does not possess the hall ticket, he/she will not be permitted for examination by the Centre Superintendent under any circumstances. 

A seat indicating roll number will be allocated to each candidate. Candidates should find and occupy their allocated seat only. Any candidate found to have changed room or the seat on his/her own other than allotted, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and no plea would be accepted for it.  

If any candidate gets late and comes after the exam commences, he/she will not be allowed to sit in the exam. The student must report at the centre before 90 minutes of the commencement of the exam.

Candidates are not allowed to carry items like mobile phones, calculators, handbags, cameras etc. or any other item which could be used an unfair means.

Fifteen minutes before the exam commences, each candidate will be given a sealed Test Booklet with an Answer Sheet placed inside it.

The candidate will write the correct Test Booklet code or number as given in the Test Booklet/ OMR sheet in the Attendance Sheet.

Candidate must use ball point pen only to fill OMR Sheet. Use of pencil is strictly prohibited. OMR sheets filled with pencils will be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Candidates will start marking the answers on OMR sheet only after the announcement of the invigilator.
