CBSE to Conduct NET 2015 on June 28

On behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2015 for the selection of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and colleges.

It is conducted across various centres in India and large numbers of candidates appear every year in this test to get higher marks and to qualify this test to be a part of the noble profession.

Candidates who aspire to be a part of the teaching profession can start applying at the earliest! Aspirants are requested to apply online through the official website. Click here to do so!

Aspirants should, however, note that the deadline to receive application forms is May 15, 2015. Interested candidates are requested to adhere to the same.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should have passed Master Degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks from any college or University recognized by UGC. Candidates of OBC/SC/ST/PWD category who have secured 50% marks can apply for these posts.

• Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age as on June 1, 2015 and 5 years age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC/Women Category Candidates.

Application Fees: Aspirants belonging to General Category have to submit Rs.600/ whereas OBC Category candidates will submit Rs.300/- and SC/ST candidates will submit Rs.150/.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test conducted by CBSE.

CBSE will administer NET in 84 subjects in 89 selected examination cities spread across the country.
