Ministry of Human Research Development, Govt. of India has conferred KIIT University in the list of category “A” among all Government and Self-Financing Deemed Universities of the country.
KIIT took urgent steps to strengthen research, publication, projects, academic quality etc which makes the University to join the league of the top universities of the country.
In 2013 a highly qualified team from KIIT University presented a presentation before the Tandon Committee and after a thorough assessment on various quality parameters, the Committee was happy to upgrade KIIT status to category “A”. Till date only a few category B Deemed Universities have been upgraded to category “A”. KIIT in this regard set an example for others.
This has created a wave of happiness to all who are related to the University, students, and well wishers. Once again University has proved its excellence and capable of secured its position as rising star.
