CAT 2013 Results Announced!

The Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) has announced the results for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2013.

Students who were eagerly waiting for the results of CAT examination 2013 can now check their scores online.

Around 1,94,516 students appeared for the CAT 2013 exam at 76 test centres throughout the country.

According to IIM Indore, eight students have scored 100 percentile and all of them are male engineers followed by 10 students who have managed to score 99.99 percentile in which there is only one woman.

CAT exam is required to take admission in Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) and other top B-Schools across India. 115 seats at the B-Schools have been added from this year onward which makes the total seats of 3335.

Admission Procedure

CAT scores play a vital role to get into the topmost B-Schools and IIMs in India. Students have to undergo Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). IIMs may use previous year academic performance of the students, relevant work experience along with the CAT scores. The admission procedure and academic cut-offs vary across IIMs.
