Calicut University Invites Application for MBA Programme 2013-14

Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Calicut University has invited application for its two year (4 semesters) MBA programme 2013-14. The admission is open for DCMS (University Main Campus, Tenjipalam) and its six self-financing schools of management studies SMS-Palakkad, SMS-Trisur, SMS-Kuttippuram, SMS-Kozhikode, SMS-Vatakara and SMS-Tiroor. The students will be enrolled for 40 seats at each college under MBA programme.

Students can also apply for three year MBA evening programme at Kozikhode, Trissur and Palakkad. Each college will enroll students for 30 seats.

Eligibility to apply for MBA Programme 2013-14 at Calicut University:

• You should have a valid CMAT score card from AICTE.
• You should be a graduate (10+2+3 pattern) in any subject of University of Calicut or any other university recognised by the University of Calicut.
• You should have a minimum aggregate of 50% (including languages).
• If you are applying for an evening MBA programme then you are required to have a two years’ work experience.
• OBC and SC/ST candidates are allowed relaxation on marks by 5% and a mere pass respectively.
• Candidates awaiting their degree results may also apply.
• Candidates appearing for CMAT May 2013 can also apply. However, they will have to submit their score card on or before 15th June 2013.

Selection process for MBA programme 2013-14 at Calicut University:

• The selection to MBA programme at Calicut University will be based on CMAT scores.
• The shortlisted candidates will then have to clear the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round which will be conducted by DCMS.
• The final selection will be based on CMAT score, GD score, PI score and weightage for +2/PDC marks.

• After filling the form you need to send the printout along with DD of Rs 500 (Rs 167 for SC/ST students) drawn in favour of The Finance Officer, University of Calicut payable at SBT, Calicut University.
• You are also required to send Rs 5 stamped envelope (26 cmx15 cm).
• No other testimonials/copies of certificated are to be submitted along with the application.
• The print out of completed application form along with DD and self-addressed stamped envelope should reach office of the Head, Department of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Calicut, Malappura, Kerala-673635 on or before 30th April 2013.
