Do you love what you do?  A recent workshop by the Global Pathways Institute helped students entering university to dream about their best futures in big ways at U.S. universities.

In the workshop, GPI guided students and parents through a series of activities which helped students imagine how they can turn both academic strengths and hobbies or interests into careers which they would find fulfilling, rewarding and fun.

“The flexibility of the U.S. university requirements allows students to pursue whatever career they can imagine, and guides them at every step,” says Crenshaw, Dean of the Global Pathways Institute and professor of English.

GPI offers one avenue to pursue these dream careers, providing the first one to two years of the Arcadia University undergraduate curriculum in Mumbai.

Brief synopsis of Global Pathways Institute and what its programme has to offer:

Global Pathways Institute is a joint initiative of the trustees of Jamnabai Narsee School, Juhu – Mumbai, India and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Global Pathways Institute (GPI) is a college in Mumbai (Kandivali – East) that provides access to the first 1 or 2 years of study of the US Undergraduate degree which eventually leads to degree pathway towards various disciplines of study. The students are offered the opportunity to follow an academic preparation program that comprises of the General Education coursework of a US University, in Mumbai, thereby saving cost, being closer to home whilst exploring various options towards their life’s goal.

The journey to a US university degree begins at GPI with the innovative 1+3 and 2+2 programmes, which are offered under the aegis of Arcadia University. Arcadia is Philadelphia’s global university and a pioneer in international education. On the successful completion of 1 or 2 years at the GPI Campus in Mumbai, Arcadia University will provide a transcript that will facilitate a student’s transfer to Arcadia University or any other US University.
