About BNPM:

Bank Note Press Mill India Private Limited (BNPMIPL) is a 50-50 joint venture between Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited (BRBNMPL) and Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL). It has it’s registered and corporate office at Bangalore and the project site at Mysore, Karnataka.

BNPM hires promising and skilled Graduate Engineers via the GATE exam. Candidates who graduated in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering and mechanical engineering streams are eligible to apply for these vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate Engineer (Electrical) –

Candidates applying for this vacancy need to hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent from a recognised university.

Graduate Engineer (Electronics and Communication) –

Candidates applying for this vacancy need to hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent from a recognised university.

Graduate Engineer (Mechanical) –

Candidates applying for this vacancy need to hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent from a recognised university.

Graduate Engineer (Chemical) –

Candidates applying for this vacancy need to hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent from a recognised university.

Age Limit:

The age requirements are listed below for BNPM recruitment through GATE 2022 -

• Maximum age limit for General category candidates is 28 years
• Candidates with OBC reservation receive 3 years relaxation in upper age limit, i.e. 31 years
• Candidates with ST or SC reservation receive 5 years relaxation in upper age limit, i.e. 33 years
• People with disabilities (PWD) receive 10 years relaxation in upper age limit, i.e. 38 years

Valid GATE Score:

The score of the candidates in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 will be a determining factor in the selection. The graduate engineers who are interested in taking up a career in BNPM need to appear for GATE 2022 in the relevant disciplines.

On the basis of the GATE score, candidates will then be qualified for the next selection rounds consisting of a group discussion and a personal interview to assess a candidates’ understanding of different facets, skills and attitude. Candidates have to first successfully pass the GATE 2022 examination and after that the GD and PI to make it to the selection. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of GATE score, GD and PI scores, and will as per each discipline.

Application Process:

• Candidates can apply for the vacancies in BNPM on the basis of their GATE 2022 registration number printed on the GATE 2022 Admit Card.
• Candidates must upload a recent colour photograph and his/her signature in JPG format. The file size should be less than 23KB for the photograph and 15KB for the signature.
• After the submission of the application, a unique ID will be generated. Candidates must note this down for future reference.
• Take a printout of the Registration slip/form generated by the system for future reference.

Salary Structure:

Trainees will be paid a consolidated stipend of INR 30,000 per month for a period of one year and on successful completion of training, they shall be placed on probation for one year at the pay including Grade Pay of INR 17,460 in corresponding Central Govt. Pay in PB-2 INR 9300-34800, Grade Pay INR 4200 and other allowances as applicable. The total CTC per annum will be INR 7 lacs.
