BIT Model United Nations 2014

The UNESQUO club of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra organised the institute’s first ever BIT Model United Nations (BITMUN) on the January 6-7, 2014.

The first day was dedicated to the discussion of the pressing issue of “Phasing out of Nuclear Energy” among the member nations of the International Atomic Energy Association.

The council for the second day was the Disarmament and International Security of the General Assembly. The issue that was brought forth was the “Illegal Trafficking of Small Arms”.
