IBS Business School, Ahmedabad conducted SIP contest on August 27, 2013.
No one’s career path is a straight line. As a career builder, internships are chance to gain exposure in career fields of interest without making permanent commitment. Thousands of college students are finishing internships this month before heading back to their campuses. Everyone starts off with a vision of their ideal job perhaps dream companies too, but this vision is really just a guess. After a small struggle in corporate world it’s now time for B- schools to declare the best project report. End of internship brings drastic changes in individual. Confidence level, maturity levels are all given a boost.
The contest started with a small introduction of alumni judges as well as a warm welcome of Dr. Vivek Ranga the dean and head of IBS Ahmadabad. It’s because of his vision and trust in students that they reached this stage.
In the contest there were 6 selected participants from which Rinnie George was the winner of contest and was awarded a sum of Rs.10, 000.
Internships provide value no matter how bad they may seem in initial stages is all IBS students learned after internships. A vote of thanks to Dr. Vivek Ranga the dean and head of IBS and Prof. Prashant Saxena for motivating and helping students to find the best company for SIP.
