The Ultimate College Hangout Place

Canteen, college lawn or outside college? You cannot possibly mean that I have to choose one? For someone who is bit of an adventurer, that is, loves to travel, for someone who is also often found dawdling under the winter sun, lying on the grass, reading a book she has read a time too many, and for someone who is always the first one to dig into that mouthwatering pizza, to be forced to choose just one of the given options? Oh, the horror. I couldn’t possibly commit such injustice by discriminating against any one place.

But if you'd still bug me till I chose one and broke the hearts of the other two, I'd say, the college lawn.

Why? Well, for one, I love gardens, lawns, and anything with grass and some pretty trees coupled with the majestic sky for that matter. It’s no mystery that my favourite colour happens to be green. But college lawns become even more attractive because of the simple fact that after being cooped up inside classrooms for hours, lawns provide the much needed respite with fresh air and an open sky. So it’d definitely top my list of favourite hangout places at college.

Besides, the idea of sitting under the shade of a sturdy tree over some freshly mowed grass with your newly found best buddies at college, talking, laughing, eating, relaxing and what not, makes me crave for college already.

I mean, you wouldn’t have to dress up, buy expensive food or be self conscious about yourself in a lawn. On any day you like, you could simply come out of the class, dump your bag next to a tree and cease your worries as you marvel at the lofty clouds floating by. You could just be you with no strings attached. 
And that my friends, works fine for me.
