Bennett University Invites Applications for B.Tech and MBA Programmes

Bennet University, an initiative of the Times of India Group, has invited applications for its B.Tech and MBA programmes of study for the academic year 2022-17. The programmes will be offered in an academic partnership with Georgia Tech, Babson College, and edX. The details of the courses are mentioned below.

(A) Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech)
  
Number of seats: 240

Subjects Offered:

- Computer Science Engineering (120 Seats)
- Mechanical Engineering (60 Seats)
- Electronics and Communication Engineering  (60 Seats)

Course Duration: Four years full time

Eligibility:

• The 10+2 Exam must be passed in 2014, 2015 or 2022
• Min 5 Subjects in 10+2 or its equivalent examination (as defined by JEE) with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates with 4 subjects in 10+2 class are not eligible.
• The candidate must obtain minimum of 60% aggregate marks in three subjects to include Physics, and Mathematics (Compulsory) and one subject amongst Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, informatics practices and multimedia and web technology.
• Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01,October, 1995 ) are only eligible to apply for admission.

How to Apply:

Student can register by filling online application or sending the downloaded / purchased application form. The candidate may fill the application along with Marks - both of JEE (Main) as well as 10+2. Further, the candidate has to produce the mark sheet of 10+2 Exam and JEE Exam results at the time of registration and document verification.

Selection Procedure:

• Candidates shall be considered for meriting process once they meet all of the eligibility criteria such as applying in the prescribed format, applying before due date and fulfilling all eligibility criteria.
• The merit amongst applications received shall be drawn based on the actual marks scored by the candidate in Paper -1 of JEE (Main) 2022 examination.
• The merit list for SC/ST candidates and those belonging to the state of J&K shall be made by  applying the cut off 10% below the total marks [in JEE (main) 2022 exam] obtained by the candidate short listed in the general category.
• The merit list shall be loaded on the websites for all candidates whose applications are found valid. It is the responsibility of the candidate to check the web site for merit lists as per dates given below to know about their counselling /fee payment schedule, guidelines and instructions. Ignorance of counselling schedule shall not be accepted as an excuse to participate in counselling or claim for counselling at a later date, other than specified and scheduled.

(B) Masters in Business Administration (MBA)

Number of Seats: 60

Subjects offered: A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree shall be awarded to students on fulfilling the curricular requirements and other criteria for award of degree. Electives shall be offered to students in the functional areas of Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Entrepreneurship and Information Technology & Systems.

Course duration: Two year full time MBA Programme

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a statutory university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates graduating in 2022 can also apply but must prove their eligibility latest by 30 October 2022. Further, they must ensure that their last paper of final graduation examination finishes before 15 July, 2022. Those not producing the eligibility certificates as per the date mentioned will be disqualified/de-registered irrespective of them having joined the program provisionally.
• Applicants seeking admission are required to have qualified in CAT/GMAT/XAT with validity up to July 2022.
• Those candidates who have good work experience and/or who have an excellent academic profile and potential, but have not taken CAT/GMAT/XAT, prior to application process may also apply. However, their conditional selection (if selected) shall be subject to submission of a good GMAT score (above 600) before closure of admission process, failing which their candidature shall be cancelled.

Those applying online must carefully read the instructions, regarding submission of the hard copy (print out) of the application. Those candidates who desire to obtain hard copy of brochure may write to ADMISSION SECTION at info@bennettuniversity.com after filling the form and making online payment. They should quote their Unique Application Number while forwarding such request.
• The application form may be downloaded from the University website and sent along with a DD of INR 1000/- in favor of Bennett Institute of Higher Education, payable at Delhi/Noida.
• The application form can also be purchased from the University office in person  by cash payment of  INR 1000/- or depositing the Demand Draft of same amount favoring Bennett Institute of Higher Education, payable at Delhi/Noida.
• By Post- By sending the application fee of INR 1000/- through Demand Draft favoring Bennett Institute of Higher Education, payable at Delhi/Noida.

Selection Procedure

• The final results shall be drawn based on the candidate’s performance in Personal Interview (PI) and CAT/GMAT/XAT score as adjudged by the University Admission Committee.
• The discretion of the University’s Admission Committee will be final in all such matters relating to admissions.
