A badminton competition for doubles was organized during sport’s week at Rakshpal Bahadur Group of Institutions on November 13-15, 2014. Students from different courses were participated.
On first day more than 30 players took part in first round. But on second day only 14 teams were selected in which 7 teams of boys and remaining were of girls.
On last day of competition only four teams of boys and four teams of girls were selected for semi final round of competition. In these two teams of both groups selected for final round.
In final round the winner team of boys was team of Roushan Kumar & Saddam Husain from B.Tech (final year) while in the category of girls winner was Swagitika Giri and Nitu Shrivastav from B. Tech (final rounnd). Runners up of boy ‘category were Rohit & Praful from BCA and category of girls were Kamlesh Kumari & Chandraprbha from B.Ed.
Apart from this the students of Rakshpal Bahadur College of Engineering & Technology (RBCET) visited Buildup Expo- 2014.
During this visit students of civil engineering, mechanical engineering and electronics communication gain knowledge about different types of architecture and interior designing. Also got to know about some eco friendly technologies.
