Assam Engineering College (AEC), Guwahati is all set to kick off the Grand Athletic Meet for the freshers, 1st semester students of the college. The Athletic Meet, scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 put an endeavour to promote sports spirit in the blood of new aspirants of the College. The day will also witness the participation of the faculty members along with the warm blooded freshers, making the eve historic and to boost morale of the students. All the 1st semester students are asked to grace the occasion with their presence without fail as the classes after 9:00 AM are cancelled on the day of event.

There will be a few events for Faculty members of AEC also, at 12:00 Noon. In view of the above, all Bachelor of Engineering (BE) 1st Semester classes from 9:00 AM onwards on 26th September are suspended to enable the freshers and interested faculty members to attend in the events.
