Assam TET 2016 Notification

Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan (RMSA), Assam; the Secondary Education Board of Assam recently released a notification on its official website about the Assam TET 2022.

The board will be conducting the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) 2022 for more than 1500 vacant posts for Hindi and Sanskrit teachers in the state. The Assam TET 2022 is expected to be conducted in March/ May 2022. 

The registration process for the same will start from 1^st February 2022. The last date to apply for the exam is 15^th February 2022.

Important dates pertaining to Assam TET 2022 are provided below:

Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit in TET along with the past academic record. The candidates are required to score minimum 60% to qualify the TET examination. 5% relaxation is given to the students belonging to reserved categories.

Eligibility Criteria:

Hindi Teacher: The candidates should have completed a Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with at least 50 % or B.A with Hindi as one of the subjects with minimum 50% and B.T/ B. Ed. degree from any recognised university/institution.

Sanskrit Teacher: The candidates should have acquired a Shastri with at least 50 % and a degree qualification from any recognised university or B.A with Sanskrit as one of the subjects with 50 % and B.T/ B.Ed degree from any recognised university/institution.

Candidates applying for the posts should not be more than 38 years of age as on 1^st January 2022. A 5 year age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to the reserved category.
