Aptech Celebrates Excellence in Aviation and Hospitality with ‘Panorama’ 2015

Aptech Aviation and Hospitality organized the second edition of its national event, ‘Panorama’ on the 18^th, 19^th and 20^th of December, exclusively for their students with the aim to create numerous opportunities for them using seminars, industry interactions, workshops, peer connect and much more. The event took place at The Retreat, Madh Island, Mumbai.

The three-day annual event was inaugurated by Mr. Ninad Karpe, CEO and MD, Aptech Ltd, along with Manish Sinha Chief operating Officer C.O.O, GMR - Rajiv Gandhi International Airport; Andy Dias, Head of Operations, CelebiNAS Airport Services India Pvt. Ltd; S. K. Mohanka, Senior Commandant, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF); Dr. Jagdish Kumar, Manager HRD and In-charge of the Regional Training of Western Region, Air India Ltd; Desiree Fernandes, Regional HR and Admin coordinator for Asia region, Oman Air; and Samiha Saif Al Busaidi, Security Network & Compliance Group Security, Oman Air, Muscat International Airport, Sultanate of Oman.

Continuing on the vision laid during its first edition, Panorama once again proved to be a fun-with-learning event that helped students connect and network with top industry people, exposed them to latest trends in the aviation, hospitality & tourism sectors, and took them on an actual flight to prepare them for a high-flying career in this field. The three-day event also encompassed of several practical grooming sessions conducted by elite brand experts.

Numerous training sessions were held for the benefit of the students giving them insights into the functioning of the industry. Industry professionals from prominent companies of the aviation and hospitality industry such as Air India, Oman Air, ITC Hotel, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), CelebiNAS,Centrum. etc communicated with the students and presented industry insider’s perception to the keen students.

Lakme Absolute conducted grooming workshop for the students and Go Airline Aircraft was chartered wherein 150 plus students were taken for Inflight session.

The Panorama 2015 awards night and Industry Honour felicitating industry professionals who have dedicated their careers for the betterment of the aviation, tourism and hospitality industries of our country was held on the 20th of December. This year, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport clinched two awards under the Best Airport and Upcoming Aviation Professional Award.

The audience was kept enchanted with entertaining acts that included Beat Boxing, B Boying, Jabba walkies and a Jam session.  Sana Shaikh graciously hosted the award ceremony while the carnival gave the crowds an electrifying evening with talent hunts and contests.  In order to further engage and enthrall the audience, “art vibe” was organized and finally, HR outlook that concluded this unique two day learning extravaganza.
