Apply For SBI Associate Banks PO Exam 2014

SBI will be holding an exam for recruitment of Probationary Officers in its Associate Banks. The exam will be held in the month of November 2014. Interested candidates can apply till 18^th September 2014 through online form while candidates applying offline have the deadline till 20^th September 2014.

Eligibility criteria for SBO Associate Banks PO Exam 2014

Candidates interested in Probationary Officer bank jobs should have completed their graduation. They should be at least 21 years old and not more than 30 years old at the time of SBI registration.

Selection procedure

The examination would consist of objective tests for 200 marks and descriptive test for 50 marks. The objective test will be conducted online. Immediately after the online objective test, descriptive test will be administered. Questions relating to descriptive test will be available online and candidates will have to write the answers on the answer sheets.

The Objective Test

The objective test will be of 2 hours duration consisting 4 sections with 50 marks each:

• Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
• Test of General Awareness, Marketing and Computers
• Test of Data Analysis and Interpretation
• Test of Reasoning (High Level)

Descriptive Test

The descriptive test with 1 hour duration will be of Test of English Language which will include comprehension, short précis, letter writing and essay.

Group Discussion and Interview

The objective and descriptive tests will be followed by GD and Interviews (30 marks). The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the objective and descriptive test will be arranged in descending order in each category. Adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by the bank will be called for GD and Interview.
