Delhi University has invited students currently enrolled in the final year to register for The Central Placement Cell or CPC of Delhi University.
CPC functions as a bridge between students and reputed multinational companies, government organizations and private sector to ensure excellent placement for the students.
Registration forms are available on payment of Rs 100/-. Students studying in I or II year of undergraduate courses can register free.
How to apply:
- Students can register themselves online and fill the form on the official CPC website
- The printout of the form will act as an ID card for the student to which he/she will have to attach his/her photograph and get it attested from the principal of their college
- Though the placements will only be for the third year students, the first and second year students can register themselves for internships for free
Registration Fee:
- Rs 100 for third year students
- Free for I and II year students
Selection process:
- Group Discussion
- Interview
Note: Students are advised to produce authentic certificates in front of the recruiters
Companies registered for this time:
- Wipro, HCL, HDFC are the regular recruiters at CPC. The salary package varies from 2 to 8 lakhs per annum
Till date CPC has received around 3000 applications for placements and approximately 6000 for internships. “The registrations will not close anytime soon. The closing date for registrations will be announced online” says Dr. Tuteja.
