Aon Hewitt conducted a campus drive for their BPO Division on March 7, 2014 at the campus of Graphic Era University
College welcomed all students from BCA, BBA and BSc (IT) 2014 passing out batch. There were no eligibility criteria to apply for the post.
Company is offering 2.20 Lac PA + Meals + Free cab facility. College witnessed a huge crowd of students applied for the post. Candidates were required reached the venue at OLD HM Seminar Hall sharp by 10 am with a copy of CV, 4 photos, college ID card and xerox copies of all the testimonials.
The campus drive was mandatory for all the students (unplaced- students who are placed with BPO are eligible for the campus), failing which necessary action will be taken against defaulters.
Placement result is yet to be declared. Till then students have to wait with keeping their finger crossed.
Graphic Era University was established in the year 1993 by Kamal Ghansala. It is deemed to be considered as a Graphic Era University or the Graphic Era Institute of Technology. Located in the state of Uttarakhand, GEU was passed under the UGC act of 1956 of section 3 on August 2008. In the very beginning, the university was just a Graphic Era Computer Center. Later, it was given the status of University. The institution began its functioning as a university to offer technological programs in 1998.
After it began providing technological courses, it also started offering engineering courses in 2001. Engineering programs offered by the university in areas including Information Technology, Computer Science and Electronics and Communication.
