The administration and students of National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra (NIT) organized yet another successful chapter of the annual cultural festival, Confluence 2015.
More than 15 colleges from all over India participated in the inter-college festival and the remarkable episode in the history of the institution.
Numerous competitions were organized for the participants. The flagship events included Group Dance, Debate, Model Parliament, Roadies, Fashion Show, Battle of Bands, , Singing Competition, while the other events included Dumb Charades, India Quiz, Face Painting, Rangoli Making, Tattoo Making, Best Selfie Competition, Greeting Card Making competition and Cinematography Competition.
The fest was graced with the presence of famous singers Sonia Sharma and Mustafa Zahid. A ‘kavi sammelan’ was also organized wherein eminent comedians from the television industry were invited. A stall dedicated to the UN’s noble cause of gender equality, under the He-For-She Campaign, was also instated to spread word about the campaign. In view of the huge enthusiasm shown by the participants, the fest was a huge success.
