Anna University: Third International Conference 2013 in July

Third International Conference on Recent Trends in Information Technology (ICRTIT) will be organized by Anna University on July 25-27, 2013. Scholars are invited to submit papers on any of the conference topics. IEEE, an USA based International publisher, will published all the proceedings. Selected papers will also published in IEEE.

Information Technology plays an important role in convergence of computing, communication and all other computational sciences and applications to satisfy our ever-challenging needs. In the past few decades, Information Technology has influenced and changed every aspect of our lives along with cultures. ICRTIT 2013 welcomes research papers from practicing Engineers and Technologists, Scientists from R & D Institutions, Faculty members of engineering colleges, Research scholars and Post graduate students from Information Technology, Computer Science and Communication fields all over the world.

About Anna University

Anna University is a technical university in Tamil Nadu, formed in 1978 by the Tamil Nadu Government. It became an affiliating university in 2001, absorbing about 250 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. Between 2007 and 2010 it was split into six universities, namely, Anna University, Chennai, Anna University of Technology, Chennai, Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore, Anna University of Technology Tirunelveli and Anna University of Technology, Madurai.

The Common Entrance Test, conducted over the years by Anna University in the name of the Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) for admission to professional courses in the state was abolished in 2006.[9] From the academic year 2007-08, students were admitted to engineering colleges on the basis of their Plus-Two marks and their caste.
