Amity Polo Cup: Polo for Charity

Amity University annually organizes the Polo Cup in support of educating the underprivileged children.This year the event was conducted on March 3-5, 2015 at Jaipur Polo Ground, New Delhi

 

This Cup is organized by Amity Riding and Polo Academy, a part of the Amity Education Group with 125, 000 students, 8 universities, 150+ institutes, 18 schools & preschools and 11 campuses overseas.

 

The fund and awareness raised by the event annual send to the Amity Humanity Foundation through which the underprivileged children are being educated free of cost.

 

 

Cavalry 61 defeated Action Polo in the final of the majestic Amity Polo Cup 2015. Cavalry 61 captained by Bk. Lt. Col. Ravi Rathore edged out Action Polo captained by Bk. Samir Suhag and rode to victory by 6-3 goals. The match consisted of four closely fought chukkers with exemplary display of impressive horsemanship, skillful stick work, pulsating moves, amazing sync between equestrian and sportsmen, competitive face-offs with occasional clashes between the players.

 

Cavalry 61 and Action Polo fielded some of the finest Polo Players, vying for the coveted Trophy including Bk. Samir Suhag, Major Vishal Chauhan and Bk. Lt. Col. Ravi Rathore.

 

This was one of the many initiatives of Amity University to create awareness about societal issues and betterment of the society.
