Ambedkar University — A Good Option Beyond DU

The University of Delhi  is one of the most sought after places for students to pursue their higher education. Every year, a large number of students apply to Delhi University colleges for obtaining their degrees. However, the University has limited number of seats and students who do not get admission are often left disappointed.

For such students, Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD)  can be a good option. Located at Kashmere Gate in north Delhi, the state university offers eight undergraduate courses in subjects like Economics, English, Mathematics, Psychology, History and many more.

The University has 85% reservation for students residing in Delhi NCR.

Like Delhi University, AUD too offers admissionon the basis of the calculation of Best of Four subjects. However,the good part is that the cutoffs at Ambedkar University are generally lower than those of top DU colleges.

Beginning this year, Ambedkar University has added a new campus at Karampura in west Delhi. The University has added 200 more seats to the existing 245 seats.

The online application of Ambedkar University Delhi has begun and the last date to submit application forms is June 24, 2022.
