The dates for the next Management Aptitude Test (MAT), which will be conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association) in December 2014, have been announced.
While the paper-based exam will be conducted on 7th December, 2014, the computer-based exam will be held from 13th December, 2014 onwards.
Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the exam can apply latest by 22nd November, 2014. Candidates can, however, submit offline applications by 25th November, 2014.
MAT is conducted four times in a year – February, May, September, and December. This management entrance test is held on a national-level and it is taken by MBA and PGDM aspirants who wish to get admission in the leading management institutes of the country. More than 600 B-Schools in India accept MAT scores.
Eligibility
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university can apply for the exam.
- Final year students can also send their applications.
Application Fees
Candidates applying for MAT December 2014 need to pay Rs. 1200 each as the application fee.
How to Apply
- Candidates can apply online by clicking here. The payment for application fee can be made using Debit Card / Credit Card, Net Banking or Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1200 in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank
- Candidates can also buy application forms with MAT Bulletin/CD from listed Nodal Centres of AIMA or from AIMA, New Delhi against cash of Rs. 1200. Application forms at nodal centers will be available form second week of October, 2014.

Paper Pattern for MAT December 2014
MAT is an objective type test with multiple-choice answers and is usually of 2.5 hours duration. The exam is designed to measure a person’s general aptitude.
It consists of the following sections:
