Ah! The 'Bookworm' Potion!

When I am on a reading spree, I concoct a special potion called ‘The Bookworm’ potion. Just a teaspoon of it and you feel enthused; you start reading as many books you posses; moving quickly from one book to another; silting through boring read-throughs and truly immersed in interesting plots! Shall I share the recipe with you? Or better send you a phial of this amazing potion? Shall we begin?

Recipe for ‘The Bookworm Potion’

Ingredients:

A sack full of Books (A la carte, but must include 3 Classics and 3 books of fantasy)

A Cauldron (Your Mind)

A Wand

Bottled ‘Curiosity’

A teaspoon of ‘Patience’

One small pouch of ‘Bookmarks’

Steps to be followed:

Prerequisite: The first thing to be done is to make the correct choices. A mixed bag is always the best bag. Thrown in some classics, some books of mystery, suspense and romance. Juggling between genres is an enjoyable process.

1. As you heat the cauldron at a low flame, pour the entire bottle of ‘Curiosity’ and stir softly. Wait till it reaches a stolid level.  This curiosity is what will help you relish the books.
    
2. Take one book of fiction and drop it in. After that goes a fantasy book and then a classic. These are some prerequisites; the rest is your choice!
    
3. Keep stirring with your wand till you feel the potion simmering; yet glowing.
    
4. Now, to ward off the impatient feeling you may feel while reading any book, mix one teaspoon of ‘Patience’.
    
5. Stir gently and Ummmm... Which ingredient is left?
    
6. Ah! Yes, Bookmarks. Take that little pouch and drop as many bookmarks as you want! They are quite helpful when you want to take a teensy weensy break!
    
7. Now, take the cauldron off the fire and let it cool down.
    

You ‘Bookworm’ Potion is ready! Take a sip and be engulfed by books!
