AFCAT 2015: Last Date to Apply is 1st January, 2015

The online application process for IAF Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2015 will remain open till January 1, 2015.

The Indian Air Force will hold Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) on February 22, 2015 for candidates interested in joining Indian Air Force as Comissioned Officers in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty branches.

Male and female candidates who wish to apply can do so on or before 1st January, 2015 after which the online application link will be disabled.

Eligibility Criteria

Flying Branch

Graduates (Minimum 3-year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or BE / B Tech degree (Four year course) from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

Technical Branch

(i) Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) – Candidates should have a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognised University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies.

(ii) Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) – Candidates should have a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognised University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies.

Ground Duty Branches
