Admission Open for January 2016 Cycle at IGNOU

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), one of the Mega-University in the world announces admissions for its January 2022 session, Admissions are open for various courses such as; Masters, Bachelors, Post Graduate Diplomas, Diplomas, Advanced certificates and certificates.

In Masters, students can take admission in various courses viz. MA (Philosophy); MA (Gandhi & Peace Studies); MA (Extension & Development Studies); MA (Education); MA (Anthropology); MA (Gender & Development Studies); Master of Social Work (MSW); Master of Social Work(Counselling); MA (Distance Education); MA (Economics); MA (English);MA (Hindi); MA (History);MA(Political Science);MA (Psychology);MA (Public Administration); MA (Rural Development); MA (Sociology); MA (Tourism Management); MA (Translation Studies; Master of Commerce (M.Com); Master of Computer Applications (MCA); Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS); MSc (Dietetics and Food Services Management); MSc (Mathematics with Applications in Computer Science).

The University is also inviting applications for Bachelor degree programmes viz. Bachelor of Science (General BSc) and also BSc with major in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology; Bachelor of Arts (BA) (with major in Hindi, English, Urdu, Economics, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Psychology, Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology); BA in Tourism Studies (BTS); Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com); Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA); Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLIS); Bachelor of Social Work(BSW).

Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) (This is a Bridge course only for students taking admission in IGNOU Programmes and who do not have 10+2 qualification but are above 18 years of age).

Admission to other programmes at the level of PG DIPLOMA, DIPLOMA, ADVANCED CERTIFICATE, and PG CERTIFICATE & CERTIFICATE are also on offer.
Student Handbook and Prospectus is available in all the Regional Centres/ Study Centres of the university which can be obtained in person on payment of Rs.200/- Last date for application is 30th November 2015.

The Admission form can also be submitted online by creating a user ID and Logging on the https://onlineadmission.ignou.ac.infor instant issue of confirmation of form submission and online payment through net banking/debit card/credit card.
