One of India’s leading private banks – ICICI has introduced a 1 year residential Bank Probationary Officer training programme for students who are interested to pursue a career in Banking. The course will be administered at the ICICI Manipal Academy Campus and students who qualify for this course will pursue an MBA in Finance & Banking. ICICI will impart this training in association with Manipal University recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC).
ICIC has been administering this course since 2007 and has had about 6, 800 students graduating from this course and working with ICIC bank. ICICI is also offering this course at the ICICI Manipal Academy campus in Bangalore with over 1900 students at present.

Eligibility Criteria for admission to Bank Probationary Officer Training Programme by ICICI
- Graduate in any discipline with an average score of 55% (aggregate)
- Upper age limit is 25 years
Selection Process for Bank Probationary Officer Training Programme by ICICI
Applicants will have to go through a gruelling session of the following:
- Online aptitude test Online
- Online Psychometric Assessment
- Case based GD
- Personal Interview (PI)
Successful candidates can choose their specialisation from the following:
- Trade Finance & CMS
- Branch & Relationship Management
- Rural and Inclusive Banking
- Private Banking & Wealth Management
- Any other Profile as decided by ICICI Bank
After their training, candidates can expect at least 4 lakh annual salary with ICICI.
