Aam Aadmi’s wishes for education from AAP

Taking the whole nation by a hopeful storm of surprise, AAP stood tall and welcomed its victory and it was proved that “Dilli maange dil se, Kejriwal phirse”. This shows that no one must actually underestimate or ignore the ‘power of the common man’! And now that AAP has won the laurels, we are all braced for the payback time.

Apart from giving the word to meet the basic needs of the capital, including water and electricity, there was also a mention about improving the education for the capital’s youth. The five-point agenda which was announced by AAP before the elections had some important actionable covered, to improve the education scene in the capital. We sincerely hope that with this humongous victory, the common man’s party is going to strive to keep their promises.

Hopes from the proposed plan of “Paanch Saal Kejriwaal”

20 new colleges in the Capital:

The promise is to aim at opening 20 new colleges in Delhi and increase the number of seats in the colleges under the Delhi University.

Support to start-ups:

The promise is to provide space for temporary offices to start-ups on minimal rent.

Increase employment in the next 5 years:

7 to 10 lac new job opportunities for the youth in the next five years.

Make Delhi a wi-fi city:

As one of the most ‘advanced’ promises made by the party, we hope to see Delhi as the 'wi-fi city' by having cost free wi-fi facility throughout.

Start sporting facilities for villages:

The party said that they would aim at using the land given by the villagers for creating and developing sports facilities in the villages.

Incubation centres in colleges:

AAP promised for incubation centres to be set up in institutes with an aim to support the students for their projects for the first two years.

We are presenting our very own wish-list to improve education in the capital on behalf of the nation’s youth:

Where we wish for AAP to achieve what they have aimed with respect to sports, technology, scholarships, number of seats in colleges, etc. we would also like to mention the need of a certain body which can take care of the rising issues concerning the youth, such as:

• Mental health of the students
• Career counselling at the right age
• Expert industrial guidance for the students at incubation centres
• Development of the Infrastructure of educational institutes and labs
• More skill development programmes at school/college level

Now that the voice of the common man is heard out loud and clear, we hold high expectations from the Aam Aadmi Party and its leaders to keep their promises and return the capital's love and the aam aadmi's support!
