The 32nd Foundation Day of MGM, a Charitable, educational and social Organization was celebrated with fervour on December 20, 2014 at MGM's Cricket Stadium.
The event was attended by the trustees' Prof. Pratap Borade, Dr. Sudhir Kadam, Mr. Ujwal Kadam, Dr. P.M Jadhav Vice –Chairman MGM, Mr. Ankush Rao Kadam- Secretary MGM. The honourable chief guest for the event was Raosaheb Danve, State Minister.
Approx 1100 students participated in a group dance where their teachers were singing songs for them. Commemorating 32nd foundation Day, MGM's Institute of Management has organized a marathon named "HERITAGE RUN". More than 2000 people across the city participated in the Heritage Run.
20 different type of sports were conducted among 33 different colleges of MGM Group of Aurangabad like Chess, Rifle shooting, Golf, cricket, basket ball, volley ball, etc.
Total 1500 students from different colleges of MGM Group participated in the events out of which there were 14 staff teams of Cricket and 12 student teams. 50 students participated in Athletics and 13 in swimming, which is quite surprising as said by Shyam Talegaonkar, sports In-charge MGM.
"To boost sporting spirit in our students, we would love to conduct such an event every year", said Shankar Kadam, Member of the group.
Students of International Journalism MGM's College of Mass communication and Journalism published a special Magazine named "MGM INSPIRE" on the eve Foundation Day.
