Jaipuria Institute of Management organised its much awaited 2nd MRC meet on October 8-9, 2014 at Noida Campus where the MRC members of all the 4 campuses met to throw some light on the journey of MRC and discuss the vision, mission, and goals of MRC for the upcoming year.
MRC Meet Snapshots, day 1:
- Meet began with the lightning of the ceremonial lamp.
- Welcome speech was given by Ms. Ankita Singh, Jaipuria Corporate Office, Marketing and Admissions, accorded a floral welcome to Dr. Rajiv Thakur, Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management Noida
- Dr. Rajiv Thakur threw light on understanding the relevance of an occasion, delivering the content and maintaining the frequency accordingly
- The session was taken ahead by Mr. Amit Attry, Vice President - Marketing & Corporate Relations at Jaipuria Institute of Management interacted with students and asked to share their experiences
- There was an Icebreaking session where the MRC members gave their introduction so as to know each other. There were presentations on Flashback- journey of MRC by all the 4 campuses.
- Dr. Poonam Sharma, MRC coordinator and Marketing faculty Noida, explained students the power of social media and how MRC can utilize these tools to build the goodwill of Jaipuria InstituteofManagement.
Other sessions:
- Mr. Bejoy Suri, took a session on Mission 2015 of MRC
- Riyanka Basu took another session on effective content writing, pillar article, how to prepare an article/report and how to start an interview
- Mr. Shashank Rohella talked about the basics of good videography and photography and the various do’s and don’ts of it
Day 2:
- Social media session by Mr. Mansish Kumar, Iridiuminteractive, on how to make the best use of social media and the importance of networking
- Case study presentations by the various teams and they were evaluated and feedbacks were given. The best two presentations were awarded
- The day ended with the prize distribution ceremony by Mr.Amit Attry & Dr. Poonam Sharma. All the MRC members were given various gifts.
Thus, The MRC meet helped the students to understand the importance and value of being a part of the MRC team
