140th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Patel at Jamia

An Exhibition on the life & work of Sardar Valabhbhai Patel was organized By Jamia Millia Islamia during October 31, 2015 to November 7, 2015 at the Dr. Zakiar Hussain Central Library on the Occasion of Sardar Valabhbhai Patel 140th Birth Anniversary.

All the Faculties and Students were cordially invited to know about our Iron Man of India Sardar Valabhbhai Patel.  All books were found in Exhibition written by Sardar Valabhbhai Patel and all books were also available which were written by others authors about Sardar life & his tremendous work. We all know he was the first Home minister of India after independence. He was born on 31 Oct 1875 in Gujarat and died in 1950.He was a Great Indian barrister and Statesman and the reputed leader of Indian National congress and founding Father of Republic India.

Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMIU) is one the best Universities of NCR. It was declared as a ‘deemed to be university’ by University Grants Commission (UGC) in 1962. JMIU acquired a title of ‘Central University of India’ by a Special Act of Parliament in 1988. It offers numerous courses at UG, PG and Doctorate level. The faculties include Humanities & Languages, Education, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering & Technology, and Faculty of Law and so on. Besides its nine faculties, the Jamia has a number of centres of learning and research.
