The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has successfully placed its 30th batch of 446 students. The institute achieved 100% final placement in a record time of just over three days.
Over 160 domestic and international recruiters participated in the recruitment drive, according to a release by the institute.
The placement season saw participation from reputed companies like Alvarez & Marsal, BlackRock, Advisors, MasterCard and o3 Capital.
The release by the institute said that the participation of these firms ‘marked the ascent of IIM Lucknow as a preferred recruitment destination for marketing, finance and consulting roles in the country’.
Sales and marketing had the highest share of 25%, followed by finance (22%), consulting (21%) and business development including some extremely sought after and niche profiles in the finance domain.
Operations/Supply Chain, General Management (7%), Systems/IT (10%), Market Research, Analytics and HR were other domains that offered jobs.
Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, Avendus, Flipkart, Hindustan Unilever, P&G, TAS and The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) were some of the top recruiters across different sectors.
Avalon Consulting, BMW Group, Kotak Investments and Tata Sky were amongst the first time recruiters while Equirus Capital and Olam International participated to offer international profiles.
